What is a trained dog? A trained dog is many things, but above all it is a good citizen. We offer a variety of options to help your dog learn the skills that make good citizenship a way of life.

Canine Good Citizen Classes

A great way to get started off on the right foot with your four legged friend the CGC class and testing is sponsered by the AKC but is open to all breeds, and mixes.

"Started in 1989, CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. " (AKC website)

CGC classes are currently available on Wednesday and Thursday evenings CGC testing shall be available for a limited number of non-class participants on a regular schedule.

Group Obedience Classes

Our next Beginning Obedience New classes are scheduled on a regular basis. Contact us for next starting date. This is an eight week course. Cost $100.

Private Obedience Training and Problem Resolution

Private Obedience training is available at our site or at your home.

Board and Train

Sometimes lifes busy schedule makes it desireable to have your pet trained and then learn to handle it. Recognizing that not everyone's schedule is amenable to attending 8 weeks of classes, we offer a variety of Obedience Board and Train programs.
